Term: one-to-one

(wun' tOO wun') adj.

1. Database theory. matching a single instance of a key value in one table with a single instance of the same key value in another table.

2. Marketing. using a unique marketing message algorithmically created for each customer based on the customer's past actions and measured qualities.

3. one-to-one merge. SAS jargon. a merge that is not based on key values; unmatched merge: indicated by a MERGE statement that is not followed by a BY statement.
